Excursion to the world's first full scale CO2 capture facility at Heidelberg Materials in Brevik 

Approximately 400.000 t per year (equal to 50% of plant’s emission) will be captured, liquedfied, shipped to the west coast, pipe transferred and injected into deep underground rock formations on the Norwegian continental shelf.

During the afternoon of August 19th, 2025, we will offer a guided tour to this facility, which at this point will be in operation. We can only accommodate a limited number of participants, probably „one bus load“, and details regarding registration will be announced later.
