The city of Tønsberg 
Tønsberg is small town located about 100 kilometres (63 miles) south-southwest of the capital city of Oslo on the western coast of the Oslofjord. Tønsberg is generally regarded as the oldest city in Norway, founded in the 9th century.

How to get there
Oslo Airport Gardermoen is the main airport for Oslo, located north of Oslo and 100 minutes by train from Tønsberg. 
From this airport the local train depart directly from the airport.

Travel time by train is about 1h 40m. Tickets can be bought on the train, but are cheaper if bought online
Car rental is an option from the airport, travel time by car 1h 50m

Arriving at Tønsberg Train station, the hotel is situated approx. 10 minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi.
