Call for abstract
Seabed mapping and inspection is increasingly relevant to many industries, and we are looking for abstracts from professionals representing the following industries:
· Renewable Energy
· Carbon Capture and Storage
· Oil and Gas
· Subsea mining, biological resources, state bodies and academia.
Potential topics include:
1. Seabed Mapping
2. Subsea Inspections
3. Survey: Environmental, Construction, Archaeological and positioning
4. Autonomy and Uncrewed Solutions
5. Data Management – IÀI/Machine Learning
6. Innovation
7. Standards
8. Regulations
Within these topics we are especially interested in abstracts focusing on:
o Client experiences and expectations (Oil&Gas and Offshore Wind)
o Specifications and standardisation
o Project experiences Oil&Gas and Offshore Wind)
o New and improved technology
o Other
Abstract should include
- Minimum 250 words
- An introduction
- Define the content (project experience, Lab work, field- or case history)
- What is new (a method, upgraded proven technology or new technology
- Keep content technical and focused (commercial content is of no interest)
- Include a paragraph of conclusion- what will be presented
- Corresponding authors contact detail and name of co-authors
Abstract submission deadline is 15. September 2024
Author conditions By submitting an abstract your work will be considered as a presentation for the conference program 2025.
Speaker conditions:
A power point presentation to be handed in 2 days prior to the conference.
· All presentation will be shared with the delegates as PDFs after the conference, a limited version as some extend is accepted.
· There is no demand of submitting a full paper.
· The presenter of the paper, one speaker per paper, will be granted a free
delegate pass.
