We aim to safeguard academic and policy interests for educators in schools. Our goal is to contribute to professional development, increased recruitment to the teaching profession, and strengthening science subjects in schools.
The academic offerings within Tekna Science teachers are organized by a separate board in collaboration with Tekna's secretariat.
We work on:
- Teacher-oriented seminars, courses, and study trips
- Political advocacy and consultation responses related to science and education
- Support for selected activities
Tekna members' salary and employment conditions are managed by Tekna Kommune's network for schools and The Salary and Special Interest Committee (LIU) in Tekna.
