Tekna researchers are committed to ensuring that the conditions for conducting research in Norway are as good as possible. The goal is to provide a network and be a political actor advocating for researchers and research.

- That interdisciplinary collaboration in education, research, and innovation is important for future value creation and for addressing global societal challenges
- That universities and colleges must have predictable and sufficient basic funding to pursue long-term goals
