Every kind of production has, in one way or another, an impact on the environment, such as oil&gas production.

The industry has a strong awareness as well as a set of regulations on how to keep the harm to the environment as low as possible. It is imperative that professionals, both in the industry and research institutions have continual interaction and integration, including different disciplines and industry sectors, and the Geilo conference deliver just that.

Call for abstracts 2025
Our goal is to continue to bring attendees the latest is oil field experiences, case studies, research findings and industry innovative developments balanced with topics related to the energy transition journey.

Since the beginning, this has been a vital forum for innovation, allowing operators, researchers, scientists, engineers, students, and suppliers the opportunity to meet in an open and constructive way, discussing ideas, build on input from others and develop a range of solutions to the ever-changing production chemical challenges.

That said, we invite all relevant personnel who possess knowledge and invaluable experiences as well as younger proffessionals who are new to the energy business, to submit abstracts for 2025
