Zero Emission Zone
The road to zero emissions in the transport sector in Nordic cities

Several Nordic cities have joined the European initiative Net Zero Cities with a target of zero emissions by 2030. In this webinar, we focus on zero emissions in the transport sector – a large source of greenhouse gases and a sector which deeply influences inhabitants and companies.
Low and zero emission zones present a realistic – but not easy – road to reach the ambitious target. We look into the different parts of a policy to remove all fossil cars, trucks and buses by 2030 without giving citizens, workers and companies more trouble than necessary.
What actions should the cities take not to be too invasive toward its citizens, the public, and not to forget the companies delivering products and services to the city? What about the societal effects on a city? What is the cost of waiting?
It’s tomorrow and Multiconsult, together with Nordic+, invites you to a webinar to discuss the road to emission-free transport in Nordic cities.
The webinar aims to explore the possible benefits of cooperation between Nordic cities in developing policy, processes, technical solutions and enforcement. We plan to start a dialogue with cities and actors to understand the challenges and the possibilities to reach a very ambitious goal.
