U3 Execution of concrete for supervisors

This U3-course is part of a training program for personnel to obtain the competency level for the execution of concrete structures according to the Norwegian standard "NS-EN 13670:2009+NA:2010 Execution of concrete structures" with the national annex(NA). The course is approved by the Norwegian Council of Concrete Competence (BOR).

The participants will be given training in how to plan, prepare and lead the implementation of concrete work, to verify and document that the work meets the requirements. There will also be given training in how to understand the mechanisms that affect concrete structure's durability.

The course provides a deeper understanding of the contents of NS-EN 13670+NA through training in the requirements for execution, using products such as fresh concrete, formwork, reinforcement etc. in a construction to provide the intended level of durability, mechanical strength and structural integrity.

Important framework conditions, correct production data, control plans and control of execution will also be reviewed.

We advise you to bring a PC/laptop for the exam as all aids are available, however, there will be give the opportunity to take the exam on paper. Phones and chat-functions are not permitted during the exam.

All participants are required to bring along their own NS-EN 13670: 2009 + NA: 2010, Execution of Concrete.

The course participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the relevant points in NS-EN 13670+NA before and during the course. After the course, everyone is personally responsible for following up on any updates and changes to the standards covered by this course.

Target group
Personnel who need to document competence with additional courses required for the production manager and control manager, foreman / skilled worker, and personnel who wish to strengthen their professional skills should attend this course.

This course provide training for personnel in the concrete construction industry as defined in NS-EN 13670: 2009 + NA: 2010 and meets the requirement to additional courses certified by BOR.
